ANDREW SOBEL is the leading authority on client relationships and the skills and
strategies required to earn enduring client loyalty. Andrew is the author of two acclaimed,
best-selling books,
Making Rain: The Secrets of Building Lifelong Client Loyalty (John
Wiley) and
Clients for Life: Evolving from an Expert for Hire to an Extraordinary
Advisor (Simon & Schuster), as well as over 75 articles on building long-term
relationships. Andrew has worked for 25 years as both a strategy advisor to top
management and an executive educator, designing numerous, leading-edge programs for
senior professionals. His clients consist of many of the world's leading services firms,
including both established public companies as well as privately held and managed
professional service firms. His articles and work have been featured in a variety of
national magazines and media, including
USA Today,
The New York Times,
Investors
Business Daily,
Strategy+Business,
Advertising Age,
Business Law Today, and
The
Harvard Business Review, and he has appeared on numerous national television programs such as ABC's

A former managing director with Gemini Consulting (formerly the MAC Group),
Andrew lived and worked in Europe for 13 years, and speaks four languages. He
graduated from Middlebury College with honors and earned his MBA from Dartmouth's
Tuck School. He is president of Andrew Sobel Advisors, Inc, and Executive Director of
the Client Leadership Forum, a best practices consortium of leading services firms.
Andrew has been married for 25 years and has three children.
